print from VirtualBox to networked printer

I run Ubuntu 10.10 64 - little bit desktop computer version and also I have Panasonic networked printer KX - MX2000 printer.

There are no 64 little bit vehicle drivers readily available from Panasonic for Ubuntu/debian. They just have 32 little bit vehicle drivers for RHEL : (So - there is no other way I can publish from my computer system to that networked printer straight.

So - my suggestion was to install printer vehicle drivers onto Windows XP VirtualBox visitor and also simply printer from digital equipment.

I've mounted XP vehicle drivers onto visitor, VirtualBox network adapter readied to Bridged, I can see printer in the internet browser from visitor, I can sound printer from visitor yet when I attempt to publish absolutely nothing takes place.

What am I doing incorrect. EXISTS another thing I need to set up?

UPGRADE :

Panasonic Red Hat vehicle drivers : http://panasonic.net/pcc/support/fax/common/table/linuxdriver.html

TO INSTALL THEM ON UBUNTU

sudo alien --scripts -k libjbig-1.0.0-1.i386.rpm libtetra-1.0.0-2.i386.rpm rastertogdi-1.0.1-9.i386.rpm

sudo dpkg -i libjbig_1.0.0-1_i386.deb libtetra_1.0.0-2_i386.deb rastertogdi_1.0.1-9_i386.deb

sudo service cups restart

currently - there will certainly be some mistakes throughout implementation which should not influence anything.

BUT THE PROBLEM IS

I can not get it to work with Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 64 little bits (or any kind of various other 64 little bits distro therefore. Just tried out Ubuntu 10.10 64 though.). Any kind of sugguestions individuals? Many thanks

I do not assume it is feasible to get the 32bit vehicle driver mounted on 64bit presently. Yet if you recognize you have a 32bit need it could be worth obtaining 32bit desktop computer rather.

When it comes to digital box, there is no factor I can consider why it would not function. Attempt re-installing the windows vehicle drivers and also seeing to it the network is excellent.
