How do I install Nautilus - Elementary?

I've included the am - monkeyd PPA and also updated my system. Yet, there is no indicator of primary in my fresh Maverick RC install. Have I done anything incorrect?

The PPA upgrades the default nautilus plan and also there is no different "nautilus - primary" plan already.

Currently, there are 3 variations detailed in the plan buildings:

1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1-ppa1 (maverick);
1:2.32.0-0ubuntu5~ppa5 (maverick);
1:2.32.0-0ubuntu1 (maverick);

Anything you can construct from this?

Adding the PPA just details the resource as an area to get plans

$ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install nautilus-elementary

is what you require to in fact install the plan nautilus-elementary.

While I can not claim much concerning the writer is selection in calling a plan fork, it looks like if his purpose is for you to add his PPA and upgrade.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

I'm presuming that this selection by "ammonkey" will certainly bring about update battles with the typical Ubuntu nautilus plan at some time.

From checking out the ppa itself 1:2.32.0-0ubuntu5~ppa140 seems the appropriate variation.

Did you attempt apt-cache policy nautilus to see if the ppa is appropriately detailed in plan resources?
