Remove locale from the system
For some rare factor, my /var/lib/locales/supported.d/local
documents had an added locale that commonly needs to not exist (in my instance, pl_PL.UTF-8 UTF-8
).
I ran sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
, and also the system reported:
Generating locales...
el_GR.UTF-8... up-to-date
en_DK.UTF-8... up-to-date
en_US.UTF-8... up-to-date
Generation complete.
that is, it validated that the remainder of the places are up - to - day ; nonetheless, there was no reference of the pl_PL.UTF-8
locale. I do not recognize if it got rid of documents connected to the locale.
Just how can I see to it that there are no documents left in the system for the pl_PL. UTF - 8 locale?
