Troubles when Sleeping on Windows 7

I'm not exactly sure if asking an equipment details inquiry is appropriate for superuser.com, yet I have a trouble with my Asus P5Q motherboard (or think it's the equipment).

I do Start- > Sleep my COMPUTER the computer system and also return to it 3-4 hrs later on. By now the cpu followers have actually kicked right into overdrive and also the COMPUTER has properly icy and also requires to be compelled off by holding the power switch down.

The Asus discussion forums have actually been no aid so I'm wishing I'll get an extra smart feedback below. System specification is:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, 3.16 GHz
  • Asus P5Q Deluxe (Socket 775)
  • USB keyboard/mouse
  • SATA invaded drives

It appears the solution is to switch off your key-board+computer mouse from having the ability to wake the COMPUTER up. I've done this and also it is been resting for the last 2 days like a log.
