Does Youtube application playback not collaborate with wifi?

On an HTC Evo with Sprint, when attempting to playback a video, the Youtube application consistently (constantly? ) records it can not play a video when I'm attached to a trusted wifi network. If I quickly switch off wifi and also make use of just the Sprint network, it functions penalty.

Is this actually the instance? If so, why?

That have to be a service provider constraint, as I have the ability to playback video clips on my Moto DROID v1 on Verizon create the YouTube application no matter which network I am attached to.

After some trial and error : the EVO on Sprint can playback YouTube over WiFi. The trouble is likely some domain name being obstructed by the hosting WiFi network which is essential for the YouTube application.
