Usually the Laptop battery is classified BAT0. Have you attempted running:

Also have you attempted including acpi=force onto your GRUB command line?

Open an incurable and also run the adhering to commands:

  1. sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
  2. Go to the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
  3. Replace it with GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="acpi=force"
  4. Save your adjustments.
  5. Run sudo update-grub and also reboot.

(If there is something currently within the "" at Step 2 simply add a room after it and also add acpi=force)
