How to create xorg.conf? (X - configure segfaults)

My video card is functioning penalty, I have no screen trouble.
I am attempting to create an xorg.conf so I did:

[ Logout ]
sudo service gdm stop
[ Move away xorg.conf.back and xorg.conf.fglrx-0 that were in /etc/X11 ]
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
sudo X -configure

But this last command segfaults:

Note the line Can't load FireGL DRM library (libfglrxdrm.so)

Note: I do have documents /usr/lib/fglrx/xorg/modules/linux/libfglrxdrm.so

It is weird that it segfaults whereas I can make use of Gnome without trouble yet well ...
Might be connected: I attempted to install the vehicle driver from ATI is internet site lately, and also from after that glxgears collisions at start.

Just how can I create xorg.conf in those problems?
It could or could not entail addressing the segfault trouble.

Ati is vehicle driver gives you with aticonfig which is in charge of handling your xorg.conf if you make use of exclusive vehicle driver. To create the xorg.conf run after that:

aticonfig --initial

You can make use of sudo dexconf -o /etc/X11/xorg.conf
