How to disable beeps if there is no audio driver installed

Its actually bothersome in windows xp if you have not yet mounted an audio vehicle driver. The motherboard beeps sometimes. I've currently impaired the system audio speaker in the devmgmt.msc. Yet it still beeps. What do I do
